“Technology for recycling salt scrap generated in the production of aluminum secondary casting alloys”

T+S Sp z o.o. is carrying out a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund entitled: “The technology of salt scrap recycling created in the production process of aluminium secondary casting alloys.” The project is implemented under the Operational Programme Intelligent Development in the NCBR Fast Track competition.
The subject of the project is research and development work aimed at solving the problem of recycling of post-alumina salt scrap, which is hazardous waste through recovery of raw materials, including coating salt and metals and finding commercial use for the remaining aluminum oxides in the process.
The main result of the project will be an innovative installation for processing salt slimes, characterized by higher efficiency and lower energy consumption than similar installations operating in Europe. It will be the first of its kind in Poland and the CEE region.
